The focus of this initiative is on 3 core functions: assessment, partnering and capacity building. The work thus revolves around (i) assessment and evaluation of Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent (MaNeCA) health status to identify and address problems (ii) strengthening of partnerships among policy makers, programmers, health care providers, families and other stakeholders to identify and solve maternal and child healh (MCH) problems and (iii) building capacity of health care workers in institutions and communities to offer quality MCH care.
