An impactful two-day strategic working meeting on AI in Healthcare, organized by the Department of Medical Informatics in collaboration with St. John’s Health Innovation Foundation (SJHIF), brought together leading experts, clinicians, and innovators to shape India’s digital health future.
A key highlight was the strong leadership and contributions of Prof. Khalid Moidu, who played a pivotal role in driving discussions on real-world AI applications and fostering meaningful collaboration.
The sessions featured insights from thought leaders including Dr. Tony Raj and Maj Gen (Prof) Atul Kotwal, covering:
- AI in diagnostics, imaging & clinical documentation
- Applications in telemedicine & primary care
- Building digital health infrastructure & ecosystems
- Preparing the clinical workforce for an AI-driven future
The meeting culminated in an AI Strategy Action Plan for Indian Healthcare, reinforcing the importance of scalable, patient-centric, and innovation-led solutions.
